Voon Siew Wei

Siew Wei holds a Bachelor of Speech Sciences with Honours from the National University of Malaysia and has over a decade of experience specializing in swallowing and communication disorders for patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, brain injury, dementia, and Parkinson’s disease.

Siew Wei previously led the Speech Therapy department at a community hospital and has worked across various clinical settings, including rehabilitation centres and nursing homes. She consults the implementation of EatSafe SG initiative for nursing home and food service providers.

A dedicated volunteer for Aphasia SG and a consultant for the Australia Nutrition and Wellness Association, Siew Wei is passionate about patient advocacy and education. She is dedicated to improving patients' quality of life and empowering the community, with a strong belief in the importance of prevention for optimal health and wellness.
